Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 October 2026 · v1.0
These terms govern your use of Apitite, including the website at apitite.net, the Apitite REST APIs and the Apitite MCP server (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms.
1. Who we are
The Service is provided by Kastrup Concepts, CVR no. 38072781, Vestergade 49B, 8000 Aarhus C, Denmark ("we", "us"). You can reach us at gkn@kastrupconcepts.dk.
The terms apply equally whether you call the APIs directly or through an AI assistant or other tool connected to the MCP server.
2. Your account and API key
- An account belongs to one person or one legal entity. Information you give us at signup must be accurate.
- Your API key and login credentials are personal. Keep them secret. You are responsible for all usage made with your key, including usage by tools you have connected to your account.
- If you suspect your key has been exposed, regenerate it from your profile and let us know.
3. Plans, prices and payment
- Paid plans are monthly subscriptions priced in EUR as shown on the website. Prices for consumers include Danish VAT. Business customers are charged VAT according to the applicable rules.
- Payment is taken in advance through our payment provider, Stripe. The subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time from your profile. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, after which your account returns to the free trial tier. Paid periods are not refunded, except where required by law.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your first renewal after the notice period. If you do not accept the change, you can cancel before it takes effect.
4. Right of withdrawal for consumers
If you are a consumer, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act. Because the Service is a digital service that starts immediately, you are asked to agree that delivery begins straight away when you subscribe. If you cancel within 14 days, you pay a proportionate amount for the period in which the Service was available to you. To withdraw, email us within the 14 days.
5. Usage limits
- Each plan includes a daily request quota, shown on the pricing page. Requests above the quota are rejected until the next day. We never bill you for excess usage.
- The "Snack size" plan is for personal, non-commercial use only. Commercial use requires a plan that includes it.
- We may apply technical rate limits to protect the Service for all customers.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- share your API key with others or create multiple accounts to get around quotas or plan restrictions;
- attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication or other technical protections;
- resell, sublicense or redistribute the datasets in bulk, or use them to build a product that substantially replaces the Service;
- use CVR data to send direct marketing to persons or companies registered with advertising protection (reklamebeskyttelse) in the CVR register;
- use the Service in a way that breaks the law, infringes the rights of others or degrades the Service for other customers.
Building your own applications, analyses and products on top of the data is what the Service is for, and is allowed within the limits of your plan.
7. Personal data in the datasets
Some datasets, in particular CVR, contain personal data such as the names and roles of company owners and directors. When you process that data, you do so as an independent data controller. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for your processing and for complying with the GDPR and Danish data protection law.
How we handle your own personal data as a customer is described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Data sources and accuracy
The data in the Service is collected from public and third-party sources, including the Danish Business Authority (Erhvervsstyrelsen, CVR), Danmarks Miljøportal (water levels), Open Charge Map (EV chargers, licensed under CC BY 4.0) and Danish fuel retailers.
We work to keep the data correct and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that it is accurate, complete or current. The data is provided "as is". Check it against the original source before you rely on it for important decisions. Where a source licence requires attribution, you must keep that attribution when you display the data.
9. Availability and changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Service available at all times, but we do not offer a service level agreement. The Service may be interrupted for maintenance or because of faults, sometimes without notice.
We may change or retire API endpoints and datasets. For changes that break existing integrations, we will give reasonable notice by email or on the website.
10. Liability
Our total liability towards you for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect losses, including lost profit, lost data or business interruption.
These limitations do not apply where liability cannot be limited under mandatory law, including your rights as a consumer, or in case of gross negligence or intent.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close your account with immediate effect if you materially breach these terms, misuse the Service or fail to pay. Where reasonable, we will contact you first.
You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. Deleting your account ends any subscription and removes your API key.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you continue to use the Service after that, the new terms apply. The date and version at the top of this page show when the terms were last changed.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes are settled by the Danish courts, with the District Court of Aarhus as the first instance, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a case elsewhere.
If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve a complaint together, you can complain to the Danish Centre for Complaint Resolution (Center for Klageløsning), Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, via naevneneshus.dk.
